Hot on the heels of Destiny 2's PC release, a brand new reveal trailer was showcased for the game's first expansion with the game's Year 1 content. Titled Curse of Osiris, the trailer goes in-depth on what players' main mission will be. More importantly, those who have already grabbed the expansion pass can hope to play Curse of Osiris before the end of the year.

According to the newly-released trailer, a brand new gate has opened up on Mercury and the time-hopping, evil machines -- the Vex -- are just pouring out of it. As always, they are looking to entirely reform the world in their image (much like vanilla Destiny's original plotline). To take on this impending doom, the most notorious Guardian in Destiny lore -- Osiris -- is coming back from banishment to take on his old foes once more.

For those out of the loop for Destiny lore, Osiris is Ikora's old mentor and the inspiration to the Trials of Osiris Crucible mode.
