Earlier this year, Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs held the honor to debut as the biggest new IP launch ever to grace the UK – that is, until Destiny arrived to swipe the crown right of its head this week.

A press release from UK retail tracker Chart-Track details that Destiny has officially taken the title as the biggest new video game IP to launch in the UK ever, surpassing the original sales figures for Watch Dogs when it released back in May.

Though specific sales numbers have not yet been released, Destiny has debuted at the top of the UK sales charts with its launch last week, and specifically the breakdown of sales for the game by platform went as follows: PS4 (46%), Xbox One (36%), Xbox 360 (14%), and PS3 (4%). The sales percentages from Chart-Track do accommodate for hardware bundles, but do not include digital downloads, which may alter some of the data slightly.

Destiny is now available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.
