Today Arc System Works released the first screenshots and artwork of Tantei Jinguji Saburo: Prism of Eyes, the latest chapter of the series known in the west as Jake Hunter Detective Story.

As we learned a couple of weeks ago, The game will be released in Japan by Arc System Works for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on August 9th, 2018.

This release won’t just include four new cases, but also ten from games previously released on mobile from 2004 to 2008, with their visuals remade in HD.

The screenshots showcase quite a few scenes of both the new cases and the remade ones, alongside the three main characters, Jake Hunter himself (Saburo Jinguji), his assistant Yulia Marks (Yoko Misono), and inspector Scott Kingsley (Sanzo Kumano).

At the moment we don’t know whether the game will be released in the west or not, and we’re still waiting for Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk, which is still slated for a generic “2018” release on 3DS by Aksys.

You can check out all the screenshots below.
