Today Famitsu released the tease of an article coming in tomorrow’s issue of the magazine, announcing Tantei Jinguji Saburo: Prism of Eyes.

The game is the latest episode of the long-running series of hard-boiled mystery adventure games dating back to 1987 known as Jake Hunter in the west.

It also marks the debut of the series on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, with a Japanese release set for August 9th, 2018.

The previous game of the series, Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk is still slated for a generic “2018” release on 3DS in the west, courtesy of Aksys Games. Of course, at the moment we don’t know if the new PS4 and Switch game will make the jump across the ocean or not.

At the moment all we know is that the game will have renewed visuals, new interactions, and a complex story based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. We’ll know more tomorrow as soon as Weekly Famitsu releases.

Of course, you’ll be able to read all about it here on DualShockers.
