While Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut has plenty of promise for Wii U owners looking to get their hands on another cool title to add to their game library, unfortunately it looks like it'll come at a cost compared to the other console versions of the upcoming re-release.

Square Enix has confirmed that while the Wii U version will contain much of the same content as the other versions heading to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, those versions will be releasing for $30 while the Wii U edition will be at a $50 premium, after originally being promised as a Wii U-exclusive before changing to a multi-platform release. In a statement for Kotaku, Square Enix explained the price difference:

“This is the first time Deus Ex is available on the Wii U. We have an extensive feature set which makes full use of the Wii U GamePad, plus we were able to add exclusive features to the Wii U version which we think Nintendo fans will appreciate and truly immerse them into the world of Deus Ex like never before."

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut will release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC on October 22nd, 2013.
