Square-Enix has announced today plans for the various bonuses and special editions for the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Above, you can see what they're planning for their special edition, which they are calling the "Augmented Edition" of the game. It will be available on all three platforms, and includes a 40-page art book, a making-of DVD, soundtrack, premium packaging, and a motion graphic novel. The best part of all this? It's just $10 more than the regular version. You can get the Augmented Edition for just $69.99 on PS3 and 360, or $59.99 on PC.

Also announced today are two DLC packs that come free when you pre-order the game. If you pre-order from GameStop, you'll get the "Explosive Mission Pack", which gives you access to some remote mines, a grenade launcher, and an auto-unlock device of some kind. It also grants you a brand new extra mission, which contains a cameo by J.C. Denton, the hero of the previous Deus Ex games (!!!). You can check out a trailer for the Explosive pack after the jump.

The other DLC pack, called the "Tactical Enhancement Pack", will net you a shiny new sniper rifle, a double-barreled shotgun, and some extra credits. You can get that pack if you pre-order at any participating retailer that isn't GameStop.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is scheduled to ship for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in early 2011.
