A new Dev Diary was published today by Paradox Entertainment to give some strategic and tactical advice for Naval War: Arctic Circle. Lead game designer, Jan Haugland, speaks on the differences in difficulty between playing against the AI versus playing against another player.

Producer and CEO Fredrik Sundt Breien compares the Real-Time Strategy game to chess. The patrol boats and some aircraft should be considered pawns and the aircraft carrier should be considered the queen. Losing the queen will be a major disadvantage to the player and should be protected carefully. Watch the video after the break and keep an eye out for enemy ships.
