Last week, Capcom released a mobile game of its popular DMC franchise, titled Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, in China.

Due to the China exclusive launch of the game, fans have been wondering whether they would get to see a global release too.

Now, we have some details that further sheds light on the game's global launch.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat Launched In China

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is an action mobile game that is a spin-off to the original Capcom IP. It has been developed by the Chinese company Yunchang Games (NebulaJoy).

The game was released on June 11, 2021, and it debuted at #2 on the iOS game download chart — which speaks volumes about its popularity.

The Devil May Cry mobile game has been developed using the Unity engine to replicate the traditional console experience on mobile. As far as the story is concerned, the game is a blend of elements from the original DMC 1-3.

A Tweet Confirmed Global Launch Of Devil May Cry Mobile

After the China launch of the game, fans have been expecting an overseas release.

And just a while ago, industry analyst Daniel Ahmed shared a tweet from the developer NebulaJoy confirming that Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat will release globally.

However, soon after this news was shared, the original tweet by NebulaJoy was deleted.

The now-deleted tweet read, "We are aware that many of you are excited and are asking for the global release of DMC: Peak of Combat. And can fully confirm that our team is working day and night to make the game in English and other languages so that all of you may experience this excitement."

Luckily, we were able to secure a screenshot of the tweet for you reference.

Devil May Cry Mobile Global Release

As you can see in the tweet, NebulaJoy did not mention a release date for Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. But, it did confirm that a global launch is on its way — which is still a piece of good news for fans!

Recently, Capcom released Street Fighter: Duel too in China, but it performed below expectations. So far, the reviews of the Devil May Cry mobile game are good and we expect it to grow bigger in the coming future.
