To coincide with the beginning of Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming action game Devil May Cry 5 which finally shows us more of the series' most noteworthy protagonist, Dante.

Much like the most recent trailer from Gamescom, this trailer begins with a phone ringing but this time around, Dante is the one who answers. After this brief opening, the trailer launches into a slew of vicious gameplay centered around Dante. There's a lot of shooting, slashing, motorcycle flailing, and demon deaths in this new video and it's all freakin' awesome.

In addition to this lengthy look at new gameplay, there's also a few new cutscenes to be seen from Devil May Cry 5 in this footage as well. We get to see a few interactions between Nero and Dante in addition to seeing the returns of both Trish and Lady.

Perhaps most interesting of all though is the new character V, who appears at the trailer's end. V is said to be a client of Devil May Cry but that's all there is to know right now. Capcom promises more information on V will arrive in the coming months.

The new TGS trailer for Devil May Cry 5 is below and you should really check it out. I've said this before, but I've never played any of the games in this series and DMC5 is making me regret that. Everything shown today looks really, really cool.

Devil May Cry 5 is set to launch next year on March 8 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
