ESRB Give Devil May Cry 5 Mature Rating for Nudity, Violence, Blood, and Naughty Words
Devil May Cry 5 will feature screams of pain and slow-motion finishing moves.
After seeing some gameplay and combat within the Devil May Cry 5 trailer we saw during December 2018 and given the content of the previous titles, finding out the ESRB rating sheds some light on what to expect.
ESRB has issued Devil May Cry 5 with a Mature rating The main culprits for the rating seem to be down to the game having blood, partial nudity, strong language, and violence. It will also have in-game purchases for all platforms.
The more in-depth description of the rating details the story following Dante, Nero, and V as they save the world from demons by engaging in frantic combat with hordes of demons. Here’s more of what you can expect,
“Battles are highlighted by gunfire, screams of pain, and slow-motion finishing moves/highlights. One cutscene depicts civilians screaming in pain while being impaled by demon tentacles. Blood appears frequently during combat and stains several environments. Some female characters are depicted partially nude, with their breasts and buttocks minimally covered by blood, light, or clothing. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.”
Devil May Cry 5 is set to arrive on March 8 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want to pre-order the game you can do so on Amazon, A collectors edition is also available which you can also pre-order on Amazon.
