Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition launches later this week with next-gen consoles. The improved version of the 2019 release features several updates and a host of new content. Soon, you'll be playing as Dante's older twin Vergil as you fight your way through beautiful environments in buttery-smooth 120 FPS. With the launch right around the corner, Capcom dropped a brand new trailer. It gives a look at all the family drama you'll be battling your way through soon. Give it a look below.

Vergil isn't the only piece of new content coming to Devil May Cry 5 Special Edtion. Players will also have the option to turn up the challenge with Legendary Dark Knight mode. This new horde mode will give even the most hardened devil hunter a run for their money. And, if like Sonic, you just need to go fast, you can enable Turbo mode. This makes the whole game play at 1.2x speed, upping the on-screen insanity.

Of course, alongside the new content are several visual and technical improvements for PS5 and Xbox Series X. DMC5SE is getting ray-tracing support on the new consoles (except on Series S) and will have greatly increased frame rates. There's also the huge improvement both consoles have made to loading times via their SSDs.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition drops digitally on November 10 for Xbox Series X and November 12 on PS5. If you want a physical version, you can pick that up on December 1. If you're not getting a next-gen console you can still play as Vergil soon. He's coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One as DLC on December 15.
