Devil Survivor: Overclocked = Most Voice Acting in an Atlus Title

By Chad Awkerman

March 4, 2011

You read that right. It seems like Atlus’ upcoming remake of Devil Survivor, dubbed Overclocked, has more voice acting than even the disc-based PS2 Persona titles, or even some of their recent PSP RPG offerings. As we know by now, the game adds an eighth day onto the end of the game (the original ended after seven days), and in just that eighth day alone there are 5000 words of completely voiced dialog. The entire game sports 20,000 words of dialog, all voiced.

Also, all that dialog will be coming over with the localization when Atlus USA releases it for the 3DS this summer. My question is – does it have more spoken dialog than Catherine? Both are hitting this Summer in North America, perhaps we’ll know then.
