What is the Secret Cow Level?

One of the easter eggs in Diablo has been the Secret Cow Level. There were rumors that the level has been scrapped off in the remaster of the game, but it seems like it has been added to the final version of the game. With the game releasing today, many fans will once again go on a pursuit for the Cow King.

To get to the Cow level, players will need to first follow the given steps.

  • First, you have to kill Baal. Baal is the final act boss in Diablo 2.
  • After defeating Baal, you need to return to the Rogue Encampment without changing the difficulty level.
  • Next, you need to use Wirt's Leg and Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube.
  • A portal will appear and you need to enter it.

Diablo 2 Secret Cow Level Easter Egg has got the change fans wanted

While fans are able to get to the secret cow level in Diablo 2: Resurrected and everything is pretty much the same, one interesting change has been made that fans had been asking for. In the previous game, if you killed the Cow King, you will not be able to access the level again at the same difficulty level. If you want to play the level once again, you will need to play the game at a different difficulty level.

However, that has been changed in the game. Now players will be able to kill the Cow King and they will not be locked out. This was confirmed by Community Manager PezRadar a few days ago. For players who wish to play the Secret Cow Level again, this should give them the chance to play it as many times as they want.
