Diablo 4 features a ton of new ways to take the fight to the demons, and one of those ways is the Strongholds you'll find scattered throughout the map. These fortresses are packed full of enemies, ambushes, and traps all assembled into a loose, impromptu quest structure. Clearing these enemy camps out rewards you with renown, loot, and even a few more dungeons to run through.

Every region has its share of Strongholds, and Scosglen is no different. If you want to fully complete this region of the map or unlock all the various aspects you can find in dungeons, you'll first have to find and beat the three Strongholds that dot Scosglen's coastal hills. Here's a list of all the Stronghold locations in the Scosglen region.

Updated by Chad Thesen July 2, 2023: Diablo 4 has plenty of mechanics that all come together to make some insanely powerful and fun builds. One of these mechanics is Aspects. Throughout the game, you will be finding many Aspects for both your Codex of Power and on pieces of gear to extract. This guide already included an embedded link for some of the best Druid Aspects, but it lacked one for the Rogue it also mentioned. This is because a list was not yet available. A list of these rogue aspects has since been published and is now linked. In addition, an embedded link explaining Renown has also been added.

Moordaine Lodge

The player looks at the Moordaine Lodge Stronghold Location on the map.

Located in the top right of the map, Moordaine Lodge is a former hunting ground turned savage refuge for all sorts of twisted beasts. Clearing out this stronghold will pit you against all sorts of animals that love to spring elaborate ambushes at a moment's notice.

To clean out Moordaine Lodge, you'll have to find the bodies of three slain hunters scattered around the area, defeating the enraged beasts guarding each one. Eventually, you'll be attacked by what seems like a werewolf during your investigation which will retreat back to its lair for the final fight.

Clearing out Moordaine Lodge unlocks two new dungeons: Ferals' Den and Twisted Hollow, which offer a few new aspects for druids and rogues. Of course, you'll also get a decent chunk of renown that can over time give you extra skill points and potion charges.

Hope's Light

The player looks at the Hope's Light Stronghold Location on the map.

Hope's Light is a zombie-pirate-infested lighthouse located in the top left of Scosglen. In this Stronghold, you'll have to fight your way across drenched shipwrecks and find a way to make it to the lighthouse in one piece.

Amidst the rocks and broken hulls, you'll find winches that when activated, will summon an elite and their small crew of enemies. Defeating them will let you progress to the next area. Repeat this until you make it all the way to the lighthouse, and you'll have to face a witch with complete mastery over the tides.

Clearing out this coastal stronghold will reward you with a decent chunk of region renown, and it will also allow you access to one new dungeon, The Flooded Depths, which contains one new necromancer aspect.

Tur Dulra

The player looks at the Diablo 4 Tur Dulra Stronghold Location

Tur Dulra is a former druidic college in the bottom left of Scosglen, mysteriously abandoned and overgrown with moss. Inside you'll find a strange memory of when the college first fell, and you'll have to run through its stone corridors as it burns around you.

Within the memory, you'll have to find the spirits of three powerful druids, trapped by their anger and harvested by a great demon. After freeing and talking to each one, you'll have to fight them in their corrupted form, and once all three are free, you'll have to face the demon itself before returning to the real world.

Once you complete the stronghold, you'll have access to the final Waypoint in Scosglen, and the college will be revitalized, offering all sorts of goods and services. Of course, you'll also get a fair chunk of renown and unlock two new dungeons, Underroot and Wretched Delve, that offer a few new aspects.
