According to a recent report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, an early build of Diablo 4 has been already sent out to a number of testers close to Blizzard Entertainment.

Unfortunately, Schreier didn't reveal much about the early build of Diablo 4, but he did claim that he has heard mostly positive feedback about the game, which is definitely good news for die-hard fans of the series.

Previously, there was an opportunity to pre-register for the Beta version of Diablo 4 through the game's official website, which is not available anymore. So, if you had already signed up, you will still have a chance to play the game before its launch. However, the current testing phase is at the alpha stage and heavily under NDA, according to Jason Schreier. So, it is safe to say that we probably won't come across any leaked footage or image from the early build of the game, anytime soon.

Diablo 4 still doesn't have an official release date, but the game had a new showcase at Microsoft's June 2022 showcase, revealing Necromancer as the final character class as well as the planned endgame content for players. Regarding the fact that Overwatch 2 is going to launch later this year, we can probably expect a late 2023 release for Diablo 4.

As shown in multiple trailers so far, Blizzard is trying to focus on delivering a wide variety of content in Diablo 4 to keep players engaged with the game after finishing the story-driven campaign. Featuring both co-op and PvP multiplayer modes, Diablo 4 offers so many in-game activities that will help you earn resources to upgrade your character and gain new abilities.

The game will feature 5 different classes, including Druid, Barbarian, Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Rogue. Thus far, Blizzard has shared a significant number of in-depth videos from each character class, revealing their unique skills as well as the core advantages of each class over another.

If you can't wait for Diablo 4, then Diablo Immortal is probably your best chance at the moment to play through some new content from the same universe, though the game is filled with unfair in-game purchases, which could eventually make it an unbalanced experience.
