Titan Comics and Blizzard Entertainment have announced an all-new comic book series set in the universe of the critically acclaimed action roleplaying game series Diablo. Written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by Piotr Kowalski, the comics will follow a group of zealous scholars and crusaders as they seek to discover the true origins of humanity. The four-part miniseries will launch sometime in 2018.

More information will be shared by Titan Comics and Blizzard Entertainment soon, and DualShockers will let you know when they do, but in the meantime, you can check out some character sketches by Kowalski below. Titan Comics is known for publishing other video game comics based on titles like Bloodborne and Sea of Thieves, and they recently announced the creative team for a Life is Strange four-part comic book miniseries.

The current installment in the Diablo series, Diablo III, was originally released back in 2012. It has sold more than 30 million copies to date and is currently available for Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
