During the Sony Live Event, Blizzard Entertainment's Chris Metzen announced a new "strategic partnership" with Sony (to takeover the world) and announce bringing some of their PC ideas back to console with a "deep desire to get back into the mix for console players."  The franchise they felt could start this off best was Diablo 3, which will be available for both the PS3 and PS4.

While there was no presentation to show off at the conference, Metzen did confirm that the game will be playable at Pax East next month on both consoles, and also announced that Diablo 3 will give console gamers direct control over their avatar, and support four player split-screen co-op.
