Diablo III Seasons Are Coming to Consoles; Armory Feature Announced

Blizzard has announced Diablo III’s seasons are set to come to the console versions of the game. The news come on the back of the announcement that Blizzard is remaking the original Diablo within Diablo III, and that  a new DLC, Rise of the Necromancer, is slated to arrive sometime in 2017.

According to Blizzard, seasons will arrive o PS4 and Xbox One “early next year.” Consequentially, Season 10 will begin the same time on PC and consoles.

Additionally, Blizzard also announced a new feature called “The Armory.” The new feature is essentially an equipment manager that stores up to five full load outs for your characters. This includes your skills, passives, items, Kanai’s Cube powers, and Legendary Gems.


The Armory is set to arrive sometime in 2017 — Blizzard has said it will have more information as a release draws closer.
