The price of games on the PlayStation Network store will be reduced this week, ahead of the EU launch of the console, Sony has announced.
Sony first revealed the prices earlier this week, and was met with some criticism from users who noted that many PlayStation 4 games were more expensive than their Xbox One counterparts.
Following the adjustment, those who payed the original price will be refunded the difference:
PS4 and PSN have not yet officially launched in [Europe], nothing on the PSN is final, including pricing on the store. You will continue to see some prices adjusted over the next few days in preparation for launch on Friday.
