Netherlands based development team 2 Awesome Studio’s bullet hell shooter Dimension Drive brings a new element to the genre making things even more intense.

Dimension Drive is a fast-paced vertical shooter reminiscent of classic arcade titles like Gun Bird and Giga Wing. However, what separates this game from others of the same genre is its unique mechanic that allows you to play on two screens; each one sports the same action in different arrangements.

From here, players can take full advantage of both screens as they hurtle through space. While bosses fill the environments will a hail of bullets, you can switch from one screen to the other to find a safe spot to ensure your ship doesn’t get damaged. This switching mechanic can also allow you to strategically traverse sectors with heavy laser grids and emerge safely on the other side.

Along with being able to switch between screens, Dimension Drive has a few more tricks up its sleeves. There is a drift maneuver that acts as a dash allowing players to cut through incoming fire unscathed, and your ship can even be thrown into reverse to take out any enemies that may have slipped by you.

Dimension Drive is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
