Today NIS America Announced the western release dates for Disgaea 1 Complete, the remaster of the first Disgaea, known in Japan as Makai Senki Disgaea Refine.

The game will launch in North America on October 9th, while European gamers will have to wait just a few days longer, and will get the game on October 12th. This isn’t that much later than the Japanese launch date on July 26th.

The game is coming both on PS4 and Switch, so you have a good range of choices between home and portability.

Alongside the announcement we got a new trailer providing a look at gameplay, cutscenes and the cast.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy another recent trailer, and a batch of screenshots, showcasing a good look at difference with the original.

The game comes with a ton of content and a solid tactical JRPG system, so if that’s the kind of experience you’re looking for, the original Disgaea is probably a good choice.
