Bethesda Softworks released a new trailer of the upcoming stand-alone Dishonored adventure Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

The  video stars Arkane Studios Creative Director Harvey Smith, and alternates gameplay and cutscenes to his explanation on who the Outsider is and why Billie Lurk and Daud want to put an end to his apparently immortal existence.

Interestingly, when asked whether you can really kill the Outsider, Smith responds that the series never forced players to kill anyone, possibly hinting that we might be able to let the black-eyed bastard go in the end. Of course, this is entirely my speculation based on what is said, so I might be wrong on this, and you should take it with a pinch of salt.

You can enjoy the video below. If you want to see more, you can also check out a trailer focusing on Billie Lurk herself, one showing her deadly (or not) tools of the trade another recent gameplay trailer, and the first screenshots and information on the game directly from E3, alongside the debut trailer that provided  a deeper look on the story.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is coming  in just a couple of days, and  it will release on September 15th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
