Dishonored "Golden Cat" Walkthrough Is The Greatest Developer Diary I've Heard In A While

By Masoud House

April 1, 2013

So of course this Dishonored walkthrough between creative co-directors Raf Colantonio and Harvey Smith (by Arkane Studios and found on the Bethesda Blog) is an April Fools prank, but it needs to be seen and heard. Some stuff like playing the game so slow the guards die of old age, possessing doors to sneak up on enemies, and a developer who spent 11 months to get the perfect lighting are just a few of the bizarre and awesome ways Dishonored can be played according to this commentary.

And the idea where surviving enemy A.I. can haunt you in future games actually sounds really awesome.

Check out the walkthrough below, and tell us in the comments what other bizarre features Dishonored or other games should have.

Masoud House

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
