Dishonored is one of the best new IPs to come out in the past decade and thanks to a recent interview with Spanish outlet Vandal we know that the Creative Director of the series, Harvey Smith is working on a new project at Arkane Studios.

The team is comprised of developers who worked on both the Dishonored series and Prey. Smith says that he has no hand in DeathloopArkhane's next big title which is set to release in May later this year from their Lyon studio. "I'm not on Deathloop, I'm on something else, working with the guys who made Dishonored and Prey."

Smith further clarifies that the team he is with is Arkhane Austin. Arkane Lyon was the primary team for the Dishonored series followed by moving to and from Lyon for the development of Dishonored 2. "We collaborated between Lyon and Austin for the first Dishonored and then for Dishonored 2 I moved to Lyon and was there for four years," says Smith. "Raph stayed in Austin and worked at Prey with Ricardo Bare and Susan Kath and the people I'm working with now. At the end of Dishonored 2 I went back to Austin." There is currently no information on the project that Smith and the team at Arkane Studios Austin are working on, but it seems as though the likelihood of a new Dishonored title is slim.

With Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda/Zenimax, Smith was asked how it has affected the studio since and he responded with "I would say there has been no change at Arkane so far." You can read the full interview with Harvey Smith over on Vandal.
