After teasing the game for a couple years, V1 Interactive and Private Division, publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, teased Disintegration, a brand new sci-fi first person shooter, back in July. While Edge Magazine covered the game before today, Geoff Keighley previously confirmed that Disintegration would be getting a gameplay reveal during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Obviously, that came to fruition during that presentation today, as the following gameplay trailer was released:

If you are wondering why you should be hyped for the game, Marcus Letho, co-creator of the Halo, is the main creative force behind the game. While it focuses on players controlling a grav-cycle as well as AI teammates, it looks like it will definitely fill that sci-fi void prior to Halo Infinite's launch. It will feature both a full single player story as well as multiplayer. If both The Outer Worlds, Kerbal Space Program 2, and Disintegration all deliver, Private Division may emerge as a great boutique sci-fi game publisher.

Disintegration is currently being developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will release in 2020.
