Even with the imposing competition of Nintendo's amiibo and Activision's Skylanders series behind it, Disney Infinity has held strong with a huge stable of figurines based on classic Disney characters both new and old, and now the most recent release in the popular toys-to-life series, Disney Infinity 2.0, will be available in a portable Vita version tomorrow.

A new post on the PlayStation Blog revealed that Disney Infinity 2.0 (aka Marvel Super Heroes) will release for PS Vita tomorrow, May 9th, as a special Starter Pack exclusive to GameStop. The PS Vita Starter Pack will retail for $59.99 and alongside the PS Vita version will also include the wireless base, a Spider-Man Playset piece, two Marvel Super Heroes game discs, a Web Code card, a USB recharging cable, and the exclusive debut of the Symbiote Spider-Man figurine.

The black Symbiote Spider-Man figurine will also be compatible with the console versions of Disney Infinity 2.0, though Disney Interactive did explain that the special edition Spider-Man figurine will be debuting exclusively with the PS Vita version of the title, which will only be available at GameStop retail stores.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes will release for PS Vita on May 9th, 2015 exclusively at GameStop - you can check out a gallery of screenshots below, and a photo of the Starter Pack above:
