Square Enix launched a new trailer for their Final Fantasy franchise fighter Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, coming to PlayStation 4 on January 11, 2018 in Japan, and January 30, 2018 in North America and Europe.

The trailer introduces Dissidia Final Fantasy alumni Materia and Spiritus. The characters are rivals to the bitter end with Materia being known as the "Sublime Goddess of Protection". Whereas, Spiritus is dubbed the "Savage God of Destruction". Both of the characters have met in battle before and now they must meet again in this new Dissidia entry.

In the trailer we see the two giving a pep talk to their respective team and hyping up the approaching battle. It'd be interesting to see how the two perform in battle and what move sets will define them.

Most recently we learned that players will be able to transfer data between the arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy, which is probably something that most western players don't have immediate access too, but the function is there nonetheless. Also, Noctis received a new trailer showing the character in battle, which is reminiscent of his move set from Final Fantasy XV.
