PS4 Exclusive Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Gets Epic Opening Cutscene by Visual Works

Square Enix Visual Works makes the heroes and villains of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT shine in a beautiful opening CGI cutscene.

Today, during a livestream from the Square Enix headquarters in Tokyo, Square Enix revealed the opening cutscene of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

The cutscene showcases pretty much what you expect from Dissidia, with the army of heroes serving Material fighting the villains summoned by Spiritus, each displaying their iconic moves in beautiful pre-rendered computer graphics.

Unsurprisingly, the video was created by Square Enix Visual Works, known for the amazing work they have done for previous games. It was introduced during the livestream with a guest appearance starring Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VIII Remake Director Tetsuya Nomura.
