After the success of the first Divinity: Original Sin title, Larian Studios has revealed a new Kickstarter campaign for its sequel, Divinity: Original Sin 2.
One of the major new features of this title is the ability to switch between cooperative or competitive play. For instance, up to four players can work together to solve puzzles, battle enemies and complete quests. However, those same allies can easily betray you or you can choose when to betray them.
In addition, the game uses a classes system in which your origins and deeds will shape NPCs’ behaviors and attitudes. Race, birthplace, and greatest feats all play a role in the player’s journey.
So far the Kickstarter has, as of this writing, garnered $450,317 of its $500,000 goal in the first day. If you would like to contribute to the campaign, go here to do so.
