Toss a coin to your Witcher, or your Witcher with both DLC's, or your Witcher with just one DLC, or...
Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has been making headlines ever since the unfortunate and rocky launch of the game. Now they’re making headlines for something other than Cyberpunk: The Witcher 3 DLC is changing on the Nintendo eShop.
When the Switch port of the game initially launched in 2019, it was only able to be purchased as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. This version of the game includes the base game as well as all free DLC’s and the two expansions. Now, the classification for The Witcher DLC on the eShop is changing.
Starting today gamers around the world are able to buy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for #NintendoSwitch either as a Complete Edition, which contains base game, both expansions and all free DLCs, or separately.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can still be purchased as the Complete Edition, but now the base version of the game can be bought separately from the game’s expansions. Essentially, if someone didn’t have interest in any of the DLC, they don’t have to pay for an edition of the game that includes them. They can also buy each expansion individually if they so choose.
