Namco Bandai recently spoke with the Official Xbox Magazine about the future of the Tales series in the West. It's widely known and questioned that Tales of Vesperia still remains an Xbox 360 exclusive in North America, even after the PS3 version has been out in Japan for roughly a year and a half. Recently, it was revealed that the title would be available for digital download through Microsoft's Games on Demand service. This was great news, considering a new retail copy could be hard to come by these days, depending where you look.

So, we have the fact that Tales of Graces F, the PS3-exclusive remake of the Wii's Tales of Graces, is being released in North America. We also have the Tales of Vesperia: First Strike anime coming our way. Finally, there is the Games on Demand release of Vesperia. Namco Bandai is ramping up the hype machine for this franchise again in the West. Let's hope this means localizations of, not only Tales of Graces F, but the new one (which looks awesome), Tales of Xillia. According to OXM, they have "big plans" for the Tales franchise, and I, for one, am quite anxious to see what they are.
