Do You Want a Vita With That?

on January 11, 2012 6:00 PM

Taco Bell announced that starting Jan. 26, you can win a PlayStation Vita by buying $5 worth of tortilla, meat, cheese and (kind of) vegetables. The Unlock the Box promotion will give away one of Sony’s newest handheld ever 15 minutes from the day the promotion starts until the day the Vita’s available in stores in the U.S., Feb. 22.

But you don’t have to throw down your hard-earned Abe Lincolns (Benjamin is so overrated) to get in on the deal. You could also play the Reality Fighters Dojo minigame in the Taco Bell smartphone app to win or enter an online contest where you profess your love for Taco Bell. The prize pack includes the 3G model of the handheld, a 4 GB memory stick, a copy of Little Deviants and your choice of ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet or MLB ’12: The Show.

The contest is, unfortunately, available only to residents of the U.S. who are at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama and Nebraska.) So start fasting today in preparation for that daily $5 Buck Box calorie count of 1,400. Or just download that smartphone app or participate in the online contest. We’re not here to tell you how to compete for a Vita, after all.
