Season 13 of Doctor Who, titled “Flux,” is close to its official release, and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season’s release schedule.

BBC announced the thirteenth season of Doctor Who, starring Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, and John Bishop, back in November 2019. Of course, fans are excited that the show is coming back for another season. However, the community is also heartbroken as it will be the last season for Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.

The creators confirmed that Season 13 of Doctor Who will consist of six episodes. And now, fans are eager to find out what the new season will have in store for us.

When Does Doctor Who Season 13: Flux Come Out?

Release Date

When writing this post, Doctor Who: Flux is set to premiere with the release of Episode 1 on Sunday, October 31st, 2021.

The episode will air exclusively on BBC America, so make sure you get the channel in your current cable plan. You can also watch the episode through BBC America’s official website and the app.

AMC+ subscribers would be delighted to know that that BBC America is available on the streaming paltform. Other than that, all previous seasons of Doctor Who are available to watch on HBO Max.

Release Time

The first episode of Doctor Who: Flux will air exactly at 8 PM EDT (Eastern Timing). But of course, the release time may vary depending on your region. So, to make it easier for you to track the episode; here’s the release time for different time zones:

  • Pacific Timing: 5 PM PDT
  • Central Timing: 6 PM CDT
  • Eastern Timing: 8 PM EDT
  • British Timing: 1 AM BST

Doctor Who: Flux Episode Count

Most seasons of Doctor Who follows a tradition of telling individual stories in each episode. However, the upcoming season of the British science fiction show will follow a single story, and all of it will be contained in six episodes. So, after the first episode comes out this weekend, we’ll have five more Doctor Who episodes to look forward to before the season comes the end. Interestingly, the official titles of the first two episodes are already out:

  • Chapter One: The Halloween Apocalypse
  • Chapter Two: War of the Sontarans
