While the initial half of the year was quite slow, we are slowly getting some highly anticipated games as the year progresses. Back 4 Blood is one such title that quite a lot of fans were eagerly waiting for.

Developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Back 4 Blood is a first-person coop shooter. The main reason for the game's hype is the developers, who are well known for their work in the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise.

The game is all set to release with the deluxe edition dropping first and the standard edition a few days later.

Back 4 Blood is a multiplayer game predominantly, so fans are quite curious about certain multiplayer aspects of the game. Here is all you need to know about it.

Does Back 4 Blood Support Crossplay and cross platform multiplayer?

One of the first questions players have for a multiplayer game these days is whether it supports crossplay. Considering the number of games that are supporting crossplay these days, this feature has become pretty much a necessity.

Thankfully, Back 4 Blood has supported Crossplay and cross-platform multiplayer from the beta stages. This means players will be able to team up with their friends from other platforms and play the game against each other.

Is Splitscreen available?

For players who are looking to play the game on LAN, there is some not-so-good news.

Split-screen won't be available in Back 4 Blood at launch, however, it has been suggested that the title will receive it further down the line. Unfortunately, there is no official launch date for it yet.
