Is Diablo 2: Resurrected Crossplay?

Unfortunately, the Design Director for Diablo 2: Resurrected revealed in an interview with Eurogamer that the upcoming remake would not feature any form of crossplay.

So, if you're thinking of purchasing Diablo 2: Resurrected and playing with your friends on other platforms, this simply won't be possible unless implemented at a later date.

Rod Fergusson told Eurogamer that "cross-play is something we continue to loo kat. But it's not something that's going to be there at launch".

Does Diablo 2: Resurrected Have Cross-Progression?

So, it may be bad news for those looking for crossplay, but it's good news for anyone after cross-progression in Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Diablo 2: Resurrected will feature a cross-progression system, meaning that players will be able to carry over their saved progress between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

However, you will need to link your Battle Net account on whatever platform you're playing on for the cross-progression to work. But thankfully, signing up for a Battle Net account is free and easy to do.
