The Suicide Squad movie is out now and fans are wondering whether popular characters like Harley Quinn, Weasel, Boomerang, The Rat, and King Shark die in the movie.

This time the squad of supervillains assemble for a do-or-die assignment titled Project Starfish to deal with the threat of Starro.

Since the movie is written and directed by James Gunn, we can expect a bloodbath and high body count from its R-rating. And as promised, many characters die in The Suicide Squad but not all of them. So let's check out which of them take the fall this time, but do note that there are spoilers ahead for you!

Which characters survive in The Suicide Squad

The movie unfurls with Task Force X members arriving at an island nation named Corto Maltese where they are supposed to infiltrate and destroy the lab Jotunheim.

So these are the characters we get to see: Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Blackguard (Pete Davidson), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Weasel (Sean Gunn), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), TDK (Nathan Fillion), Mongal (Mayling Ng), Javelin (Flula Borg) and Savant (Michael Rooker).

So here's whether the following characters survive in The Suicide Squad:

Harley Quinn

It's a relief to know that Harley Quinn survives in The Suicide Squad because we'd love to see her again!

King Shark

Another character to make it out alive of The Suicide Squad movie is King Shark. But it remains to see whether we would get to see this King Shark in another DCEU flick.

Weasel

Even though Weasel appears to drown even before the team gets onto the beach of Corto Maltese but Weasel survives in the movie.

Captain Boomerang

In the first Suicide Squad movie, Captain Boomerang manages to make it out alive. Sadly, luck seems to run out for him in Suicide Squad 2 as he dies in the explosion of a crashing helicopter.
