Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season One are only a few hours away, and fans have got everything crossed that the new update will finally include a FOV slider for the console versions of Warzone.

The feature has been requested for quite some time now, with it already being readily available on the PC version of the game. Alongside this, fans are also eager to know when a next-gen version of Warzone is arriving, with the new consoles now being out for over a year, many believe there's no reason for a next-gen version of the game to not be released.

Unfortunately, players in the community are speculating that a next-gen version of Warzone hasn't arrived yet due to the game being tied into Modern Warfare as one single app. But regardless, a FOV Slider should still be possible to implement on consoles, so has Raven Software finally given fans what they want?

Does Warzone Season 1 Include A FOV Slider On Console?

Yet again, it's bad news. There appears to be no sign of a FOV Slider being included in the Season One update, which is set to arrive later today at 9AM PT / 5PM GMT.

There was initially some confusion over the matter when Raven Software hinted towards a FOV Slider coming to consoles in the Season One patch notes, which have since been adjusted. Originally, a screenshot showcasing a FOV Slider was shown in the patch notes with the line "We're introducing a revamped setting menu layout inspired by Vanguard, including the following updates".

However, this caused mass confusion amongst the community and has since been changed. CharlieIntel also reached out to Activision for comment and has confirmed that there are currently no new announcements regarding console FOV for Warzone.
