Call of Duty Warzone just launched its new Season 6 update on October 7, with several new weapons, perks and changed coming to the game.

However, what about the two highly sought-after elements that all players are asking for: a FOV slider, and a new anti-cheat system – did Activision do something about all that?

Is there a Field of Vision (FOV) slider now in Warzone Season 6?

Being able to configure your FOV, Field of View, with a slider in the options, making it larger or not, is a staple of FPS games. Many FPS players nowadays are used to setting FOV exactly to their preferences. While the PC version of Call of Duty Warzone does include a FOV slider, the console versions do not. As such, this was one of the most asked for features in players’ feedback for Season 6.

Sadly, according to the patch notes officially published on the Warzone website, the game did not add a FOV slider on its console versions. Nothing has changed for console players, who still have to wait for future updates.

Similarly, the patch notes do not mention additional cheat countermeasures that were added to Warzone. However, some changes will be coming soon.

It’s been confirmed that anti-cheat will be coming to Warzone when integration with Vanguard takes place and the new map arrives.

Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For now, Warzone players still have to wait for FOV and better console support in general.
