Creazn Studio's creepy thriller game Dollhouse will be arriving this year as announced by publisher SOEDESCO earlier today. The game will be launching on PS4 both digitally and physically as well as on PC too.

The announcement today also introduces us to the PS4 box art for the psychological horror game which you can find below. The ESRB rating on the box art also appears to be rated Mature, although there's no official rating on the ESRB website just yet.

If you don't know what Dollhouse is about then you'll find yourself taking control of Marie during Hollywood in the 1950s. Marie is a detective who suffers from amnesia with the only memory being certain is that her daughter died and she is now being haunted.

You'll go through Marie's memories as you watch her uncover the truth about what happened on the night her daughter died and help Marie escape from the horrific place she's stuck in. Dollhouse offers a single-player campaign but is also due to have an online versus multiplayer mode as well.

Apparently, players will be able to customize and upgrade their character with 40+ abilities and passives while being able to also scan the environment and see through the eyes of the character that haunts you. The maps are due to be procedurally generated and online multi-player will find each player being set a different target. There is to be 14 playable characters online, each of them coming with their own story.

It's been a long road for Dollhouse with the game originally receiving a trailer back in 2014 after winning three awards from the year before. It was then due to launch in 2014 but never saw the light of day. Later on it was said to be planned for a release in early 2016 but instead ended up being pushed to 2017. In 2018 Dollhouse got a closed beta to begin shaping the games final form which required those interested to sign up.

Despite the years of delays, the fact we're seeing official box art and the closed beta that ran last year is a good sign that the game should launch this year. Take a look at the box below!
