Don’t Play Well With Others? Resident Evil 6 Has a Solution for That

on September 2, 2012 4:20 PM

If the concept of having to play with a partner in Resident Evil 6 is turning you off, have no fear: an unlockable skill called “Lone Wolf” will solve your anti-social woes. The gory details (I have no self-restraint) of the skill have yet to be unveiled, but the basic jists of it have been announced.

Upon unlocking Lone Wolf, your partner doesn’t completely go away. For example, he or she will still be present to help you to open doors and perform other miscellenous tasks, but the jerk won’t bother helping you up if a pile of zombies decide you look like a great lunch.

It’ll add an edge of challenge to your play-through, that’s for sure. Lone Wolf would be a good choice to make if you also enjoy doing “challenge runs” on games. Good luck out there, zombie hunters, and make sure you have all your gear ready for when Resident Evil 6 comes out on October 2nd, 2012.
