The survival game Don’t Starve will be making its debut on the Nintendo eShop on April 12th.  Don’t Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition will not only feature the original base game but will also offer the Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked expansion packs. Last Thursday, a trailer was released to celebrate this release.

In the game you play as Wilson, a gentleman scientist, who has been trapped by a demon and released into a mysterious wilderness world.  You must learn to survive, explore this strange world, and help Wilson find his way home. The Reign of Giants DLC introduces new characters as well as giants, obviously, and even tougher conditions to survive through in the worst part of each of the seasons.  Shipwrecked finds you trapped on an island with more dangers to overcome including tropical seasons, crafting boats, and new sources of food.

Don’t Starve is currently available on multiple consoles like PC, PS4, and Xbox One (available via Amazon). You can get it for Switch April 12th on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99. You can view the announcement trailer below.
