Doom Eternal, DualShockers' E3 2019 Game of Show, is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles of the year and the sequel sounds like it is going to take a bit longer to beat compared to its predecessor.

Marty Stratton, Id Software's executive producer discussed with QconForums.com during QuakeCon the length of the game and what players will expect to see. He stated that even though there is still work to be done on the game, it should take anywhere from 18-22 hours to complete.

Since QuakeCon did occur over a month ago, there is a chance that this might have changed a bit during the timeframe. However, the chances of this are pretty slim. Stratton did confirm in the video above that Doom Eternal is "definitely bigger than Doom 2016".

My hype levels for this game couldn't be higher. I was sad I personally wasn't able to go hands-on with the game at E3 this year but from everything I have heard and seen, the sequel is improving on everything that was already fantastic in the first game.

Doom Eternal is set to launch later this year on November 22 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. For more coverage of the game, make sure to check out our preview from when we were able to get out hands on the game at E3 a couple of months ago.
