As the follow-up to 2016's acclaimed DOOM revival, DOOM Eternal already looks like the amped up successor that we've been waiting for. Thankfully, there are only a few months left until the game is in our hands, and ahead of its release in March a new trailer gives us an even better look at what's to come from the latest chapter in the story of Hell.

Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer for the upcoming DOOM Eternal, which focuses a bit more on the game's story. Granted, story has never really been DOOM's strongest suit, but in DOOM Eternal it surprisingly looks like the story will have a deeper emphasis with Hell literally taking over the Earth.

Aside from the story elements in the trailer, there are also plenty of moments of gameplay shown as well to give us a better idea of what new weapons and features that DOOM Eternal is bringing to the table.

DOOM Eternal will release for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on March 20, 2020, followed by a Nintendo Switch version sometime later this year. The game is available for pre-order now on Amazon, and for a closer look, you can check out the new trailer below:
