The wait for DOOM's portable counterpart is about to be over. Today, developer id Software and publisher Bethesda Softworks announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the popular first-person shooter would be hitting stores on November 10, 2017.

The news was announced via an interview with Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin, the Executive Producer and Creative Director at id Software respectively. In the video, they essentially provide an overview of what Nintendo Switch buyers will getting when they pick up their copy of DOOM.

DOOM on Nintendo Switch will include both the entirety of the single-player campaign, as well as arcade mode, and each and every one of the multiplayer maps, including those originally released as DLC. The game will be locked at 30 frames-per-second.

Recently, DualShockers got the chance to sit down with the Switch version of DOOM. You can check out our impressions of the game here, but if you want to see it in action, you can check out some gameplay here.

Of course this is not the first platform that DOOM has graced. The game was originally released on May 13, 2016, and is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
