Dota 2's The International 10, or TI 10 dates have apparently surfaced on the internet. Today we ask: are they true?

Last year, Valve had to cancel its highly anticipated TI 10 due to the pandemic. After restructuring the entire Dota Pro Circuit, fans wonder whether the season shall culminate in an offline TI 10 or not.

Now, Google says that TI 10, or TI X, is scheduled to start on August 15th in Stockholm.

Read more to find out about the authenticity of this supposed leak since we don't have official dates from Valve.

Will The International Take Place This Year?

In 2020, the COVID pandemic led to many offline Majors and Minors abruptly cancelled. Later, Valve reshaped the face of professional Dota 2 with their DPC 2021/22 season.

However, most Dota 2 fans eagerly await the year's biggest tournament, The International. During TI 9, Valve announced that TI 10 shall take place in Stockholm at Ericsson Globe in August 2020. That unfortunately didn't happen.

In January 2021, Valve updated the community with their plans for the new DPC season and with it promised a TI this year. However, we have not received any official confirmation from Valve regarding TI 10 dates or venue.

What Does The "Leak" Say About TI 10 Dates?

If you google last year's venue for events, the search states that TI 10, called TI X, is scheduled to take place on August 15th 2021.

On a closer examination, it is revealed that the site from which Google gathers this information is ggScore. There is a listing for a 'TI X' on their site with TI 10 dates and venue.

How Authentic Are These TI 10 Dates?

At this moment, there is no official confirmation from Valve regarding TI 10 dates or venue. With the ongoing pandemic and worldwide lockdowns thanks to the new waves, Valve has a difficult task ahead of itself.

Nevertheless, we did see the ONE Esports Major take place in Singapore which does leave us with some hope for an offline TI. For now, we don't suggest taking these dates as true and patiently wait for Valve to give us a confirmation.
