The official release date for the upcoming Dota 2 patch 7.31 is Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022. Players can expect today's update to have a release time of 12PM PT / 3PM ET / 8PM GMT.

Dota 2 Update 7.31 Patch Details & Changes

Valve has been rather tight-lipped surrounding the upcoming Dota 2 update, with official patch notes still yet to be shared by the developers. However, we do have some very minor details about what to expect in 7.31.

According to the official Dota 2 Twitter account, today's patch will include a host of changes, including a rework to the contentious crew of Techies Demolitions.

Unfortunately, it's currently unclear exactly how the Techies will be re-worked. Many fans are hoping that a nerf will be included in today's update, with many players even begging for them to be outright removed.

There is also speculation amongst the community that patch 7.31 will include the Primal Beast as a new playable her, as well as a brand new map, changes to gold and experience values in lanes and the jungle, new neutral items, and further hero changes.

But, we will have to wait for the official patch notes to arrive later today to find out what exactly is changing in the upcoming Dota 2 update.
