Double Fine Adventure Documentary Shows What Happens When You Make a Million in a Day

One of the most interesting aspects behind Kickstarter and the games funded through it is the human factor. The men and women behind those projects that often come back from relative obscurity, or at the very least come from a background of being defined “niche” and seeing a lot of publisher’s doors closed in their face, suddenly find themselves at the center of massive support from fans and backers.

It’s for sure a rather unique experience, and 2 Player Productions shot a documentary that shows the birth of what could be ┬ádefined the “mother” of all kickstarter game development projects: Double Fine Adventure.

The documentary stars Tim Schafer, Greg Rice, Ron Gilbert and the rest of the Double Fine team, and it’s the perfect thing to watch if you had a depressing day, given the almost overflowing amount of positiveness it portrays. Whether you had a bad day, or you just want to smile, you can watch it below.
