Double Fine Presents Stacking

Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions has teamed up with THQ to bring you their newest game, Stacking, which will be hitting XBLA and PSN early 2011. Stacking is a third-person adventure puzzle game starring a family of Russian stacking dolls. The family has been separated by tough economic times, and you play as the youngest child Charlie as you try to bring the family back together.

Just like their previous collaboration Costume Quest, this sounds like a very interesting and original idea and I’m very eager to see how it plays out. Tim Schafer and Double Fine have to be setting some kind of record for “High rated, low selling” game however, so I expect a lot of people will overlook this for some reason. and shame on them.
