Double Fine's Kickstarted Strategy Game Massive Chalice Launches on June 1st

Double Fine announced today that its strategy game Massive Chalice will be officially leaving Early Access and launching on Steam on June 1st.

Massive Chalice is a turn based strategy game inspired by the likes of XCOM and Final Fantasy Tactics, and tasks you with training “generations of heroes to repel a demonic invasion”.

The game will have the same control scheme and UI control on PC as the Xbox One version will, and the Xbox One launch of the game is planned for around June 1st as well.

The game was funded via Kickstarter much like the studio’s other recent release, Broken Age, and raised over $1.2 million to fund its production.

If you want to get a better feel of the game you can check out its Steam page here.
