Headlander is a retro-futuristic, action-adventure game set in a 70’s-inspired science fiction world and will launch on July 26 for PS4 and PC, Double Fine and Adult Swim Games have announced.

The game is set in a world where all of humanity have transferred their minds into robotic bodies and are ruled by a deranged computer. Welp.

At the start of the game you get to choose from three different heads, and then go off to solve the mystery of who you are and why you’re the only human left. You can use your chosen head to dock into a range of bodies, including humanoid Citizens, turrets, computer terminals, robot vacuum cleaners and robot dogs.

Bad at video games, decent at writing.
